Excellent bar raising welcoming colleagues 4. Innovative and meaningful work 5 . You have ample opportunities to make an impact 6. Lots to learn so you will feel energised if you have a growth mentality 7. Very flexible 8. Leadership principles , tenets and mental models provide a great framework for employees to operate in. 9. I like the culture , everyone I have met is down to earth and not pretentious 10. The offices are cool and the casual dress sense is amazing . You feel at “home” in the office !!

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

My manager was nice. Lots of opportunity to learn. AWS looks good on your resume.

Cons

The work is way too stressful, and all metric based. If you have anxiety, the role will be difficult because you have to learn so much in so little time and are expected to help customers with the little training you receive. Live contacts are also hard to deal with as you have to find a solution to an issue quickly. You have to do a certain amount of case resolves per week, and also customers have the ability to rate your response. Most of the time the customer ratings are unjustified but you will get penalized for it anyway. Each team and site have different ways of training. Unfortunately, I did not get proper training in my team and my mentor was very rude. It doesn’t feel fair because my other coworkers in a different site (same team) got a more extensive training program. Also have to mention that if you quit or get fired before working a full year, you will have to pay back your prorated bonus AND relocation stipend. So that means you’d have to pay back around $20,000+ depending on how early you quit. So if you’re considering accepting the role, keep this in mind.

Pros

some of the people you meet here are truly amazing, those who actually know how to do the job are willing to help you better yourself.

Cons

Management is going down, priorities change every week if not every day, they worry so much about ticket touching or ticket count, that quality of the work does not matter to them, they got some really good L2's working that deserved to be L3 but don't want to promote them, some L3 that deserve L4 but get same response (it's all about finance for your promotion)... what a joke. Then they hired L2 that act like kids and don't respect leadership and do nothing, but if a L3 does that it gets in trouble. Management has become a huge circus from top to bottom.
