Pros

Pay is good. I was worried about work-life balance coming into the role because of stories I have heard, but the work-life balance is great on my team and adjacent teams. Teams are very friendly and collaborative.

Cons

On-boarding can be tough as a lot of the learning is self directed and you can go down rabbit holes pretty easily.
