Pros
Pay checks do arrive regularly. Until relatively recently there was an exceptional health insurance plan available, and retirement was reasonable - even expected.
Cons
The neverending careerists and finaglers - the users and ill-trained managers. The constant fear of outsourcing, and even now, 'in-sourcing' - as a global business there's really no good reason, according to management, to maintain their costly US based employees. The threat is always, always there - and as a result, new hires treat the place as a slightly more high level fast food job.
