Pros

Fast paced environment, physically demanding, if you like that kinda thing...

Cons

Very labor intensive position. Taking blood is a tiny part of this job. Its a lot of packing supplies, loading them into vans, weighing ice, unpacking at site, setting it up, then comes the blood drives. Lunches were hard to get depending on the manager on duty. Don't expect to have a life with his job, hours are all over the place as blood drives take place at different times. Drive time is also a factor. Sometimes, blood drives would be an hour away, making that a VERY long day to be back in 6 hours for another drive. Coworkers are very immature at this location.

Pros

Your co workers, other than that nothing!

Cons

The company/mngt does not care about employees, sponsors or donors. You are expected to bully and harrass people to give blood, it's embarrassing how low you are expected to stoop. Goals are unrealistic and unachievable, mngt is out of touch with reality and how much the world has changed. Employees are provided with the tools and support needed. Plan to be written up even when you encounter obstacles out of your control. Mngt uses humiliation tactics and micro manages to the point of demotivating and running off great employees. Discrimination and favortism is thrown in your face. Mngt has no clue how to lead a team. You will never look at the red cross the same way.
