Pros

The people were always pleasant. Work/Life balance was great! Flexibility.

Cons

Increases were very minimal. Lots of corporate BS for annual reviews. After 21 years of being a loyal employee, they eliminated my entire department. This was very devastating to me.

Pros

Multinational org so ability to work in other countries cities etc, decent conditions eg parental leave, carers leave etc. Lots of ability to work flexibly if you're able to show your performance. Facilities okay in Sydney office, decent showers on site. Sporting groups etc an added bonus. Generally nice people working.

Cons

Employees really need to be able to 'play the game' in certain parts of the business in order to progress in the business. Terrible leaders, no female role models. Perhaps 1 female leader in our part of the business but she's only still there because she knows to keep her head down. Any decent leaders have left in the last couple of years, lots of rumours business is being sold Male leaders still do their golfing trips, no inspirational leaders, don't listen to feedback No diversity in leadership and very little through organisation. Initiatives to create diversity treated as tick boxes and no real change I've seen there Don't hire replacement employees until well after the employee has left, perpetuating challenges the business already has in resourcing.

Pros

Very professional organization cares about ethics and doing the right thing

Cons

Pay was not competitive unless you played politics. Even if the company was doing well, the CEO wouldn't approve a decent merit budget. Stock holders came before employees
