Pros

-Decent insight on the monotony of daily work life at a global corporation. -Name Brand Recognition -You have to earn that job experience somewhere -Almost always hiring thanks to turnover rate (great for new comers, however indicative of current morale)

Cons

-No upward mobility -Lack of skill training for job role -Limited skill training for job function -No varied skill training that is transitive to other jobs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outbound) -Outdated tech, software, and other tools makes what would be a simple job, much harder. -Lack of incentive to perform well -Limited benefits, expensive insurance, limited tuition reimbursement -Low pay vs. competitors --Beware of becoming too complacent. The same job role of an entry level specialist, is equal (in function, not work load) of a senior level specialist. For those who enjoy consistency look no further. For those seeking role change, or different challenges, do not expect much else.

Pros

The UK office is a great place to start your career or get really wide range of experience in insurance broking. Aon has a number of market leading accounts and colleagues. If you want to work at a large broker, it is great.

Cons

Non-financial KPIs are terrible. Time sheets, data capture, replication of non-client work, compliance - all imposed on the workers and avoided by the more senior staff. Definitely an 'us and them' culture.

Pros

There is okay work life balance just depending on who you work under in the company. But by the book it is not so great of a balance.

Cons

Low Pay, Low morale, No place to advance, Upper Management does not care or appreciate its employees and their contribution.
