The same cannot be said of AppDynamics. AppD's main issue is the management across the board. Individual's that do a great job of their current job are regularly promoted without anything being done to prepare them for their next role, this has lead to a significant number of leaders lacking the competency required to do a good job. This is especially the case in the Sale Enablement organisation, a toxic working environment where problems are never addressed as the arrogant leadership refuses to acknowledge them. A leadership team that threatens to damage you career with bad references for petty reasons. Not a role I would recommend.

Our product has lagged behind the competition. We have been in development with our new product for 2.5 years with no GA release date - this new product has features that our competition has in the market right this second. While Cisco support is listed as a pro above, it can also be a con because of too many cooks in the kitchen and an army of people with no background in or around software or APM. All the people who made AppDynamics successful originally have moved on both in sales and product leadership.
