      Pros

      The IT and facilities teams have done a fantastic job making the office up-to-date with the latest technology and perks. The Cisco acquisition has allowed some great benefits, such as 401K and ESPP.

      Cons

      The company is no longer what it once was-- a place that solves really cool problems and fosters an environment to learn and grow. There have been numerous ethically and morally wrong incidents within the company, making it an unsafe work environment (especially for women). If you're looking to join AppD PLEASE do your research and ask smart questions, specifically around the companies vision, longer term goals, career growth, and culture.

However, it’s disappointing to hear about your less than amazing experience with the work environment. If you are comfortable doing so, I encourage you reach out to your HRBP/ HR team to address your concerns in detail. We strive to be a great workplace for all and an unsafe work environment is never acceptable.

      Pros

      Of course things vary from team to team, but in my experience, I have been given so much opportunity to try new things and succeed (and fail) in a safe environment. I feel recognized for the work I do and I feel appreciated. There is always work to be done, which means opportunity and growth. I am grateful for the personal and professional development trainings offered regularly. Also, AppDynamos are seriously the best people I have ever worked with. Working with a team that is motivated, smart, funny, care, and are HUMAN makes a big difference in staying excited to come into work.

      Cons

      Growth and change management is hard - everywhere. I am glad that our leadership cares enough to double click on what employees have issues with, and spend time, resources and money to fix those. At the end of the day, every company has its quirks and downsides, but after many friends have left AppD, I believe that the 'grass is always greener' theory applies here. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't, and our "devil" is definitely manageable!

      Pros

      Cisco acquired, Cisco feeds money to spend more on parties, weekly off sites, monthly parties, quarterly off sites

      Cons

      Management does not even know some of the employees. VP's don't even care to meet employees. Its only under 1400 employees company. Completely different from Cisco's culture. There are few management folks , just there to party with off sites. did not see any results. Not sure whether Cisco will ever breakeven with the investment made
