Pros

Easy place to work, need to get their act together.

Cons

You get sacked if you get a fault on your broadband line, even if you can provide evidence your doing everything possible to fix said issue. It's been 11 months and I'm still trying to get them to take me off their payroll, I'm on emergency tax until this is fixed. Your final payslip will be messed up, and they won't report earnings to revenue correctly. They will not report correctly on taxes you paid (how fitting). All in all, I'd never work there again after my experience.

Cancerous management

Pros

Benefits. Good pay. That's about it.

Cons

Management doesn't care about you at all. They love talking over you and talking you like a child. The whole environment is cancerous honestly. They pride themselves on culture but I never saw it, and managers were never friendly or empathic with me on my personal needs or my medical needs. I told them before my firing that this would really be rock bottom for me and that is kill myself. When they fired me in a webcam session I honestly considered it, and with 2 managers on camera pulled my gun out cocked it and put it to my head on camera. They didn't respond or do anything before I told them I need to leave and shut down my computer. I dare anyone at Apple to pull that session since I know it's recorded, but that's who you're dealing with You'll be screwed time and again on your schedule so just get used to that. 4 years I was there, never once did I get the schedule I wanted or anything close to it. And you'll be severally chastised for asking questions about it, the last time I did I was mysteriously fired 2 days later. The times for that by the way are 1pm-2am EST. So if you can't work those hours don't bother applying because these people simply don't care. No matter what you are the customers punching bag, no it's ands or buts. This company will never have your back. Moving up is impossible because for one there's been a hiring freeze since 2016 and two you'll have a million managers in your time each resetting your progress, asking you the same questions as the last until you're ground pulp and give up.

Pros

Salary increase to 27,500 after probation, yearly annual performance review could mean a yearly salary increase, great discounts for yourself 27%, and 17% for family and friends. Health and dental cover, very supportive in terms of personal life.

Cons

Bad work life balance, I worked every weekend for nearly 3 years straight. If your in top 5% of advisors you can pick your shift.. otherwise your competing against everyone else for shift bids.. you could end up constantly on a late finish And working every weekend.. if you have young kids may not suit.. You will be sitting on your own in a spare room for 40hours per week taking call after call after call. It wore on my brain and made me depressed.. after 5 years I’d had enough.. it’s hard to move on from entry level.. I seemed to always just miss out, it’s very demotivating..
