Pros

Your resume probably would have one of the strongest impression for working at Apple. The role will be challenging but therefore you will definitely be good at what you are doing. The people you meet are phenomenal and unbelievably intelligent. You talk to 5 people with one problem and they each give you different solution, but all of them are essential and right for the customer.

Cons

I found the pay to be a bit low for the skillset/commitment required by the employee. You will need to admit the fact that you are in the support team after all and therefore you really need to sprint to build your asset; because you will not learn how to code like an engineer, how to sell like a seller, or how to be educated in finance/logistics/procurement/etc. Your tools for success will be the tools developed for the company, or the stakeholder relationships you have built. You are really on your own when it comes to building your career path. With that said, you will get to work with many departments (mentioned above). As a member of a centralized team, you are responsible for coming up with what top-notch service you can bring to the customers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for your own career. It is not recommended if you are type of person who is looking to work in an easy environment where you don't have to work hard but still get paid because you work for a tech giant.

Pros

Somewhat competitive compensation but not much different from similar sized companies with much better work environment. Apple does a good job of setting you up with ibuddies, who become your mentors that guide you through onboarding, and answer any questions. My ibuddy was wonderful, transparent and honest about the downfalls of Apple.

Cons

I've worked at 4 other tech companies and each of those have been a better experience than Apple. The benefits, the work environment, the culture and especially the work life balance. Apple has started requiring employees to go onsite to the office 3 times a week. Although I'm grateful for a hybrid model and to have a job, I think employees should have more say over when they go to the office, especially when covid is still prevalent and other diseases are surfacing. The pandemic has provided us the opportunity to better balance our lives and Apple doesn't seem to be understanding of this. I envy all the appreciation posts on LI of people at companies that allow them more flexibility and understanding when it comes to work life balance. I believe that as long as you're meeting deadlines, contributing to your team and doing impactful work, it doesn't matter how or where you do it. Apple needs to trust their employees more. The benefits are alright. The cafeteria food is marked down by maybe 10% and isn't very good so we often get lunch from the Whole Foods hot bar. If you're requiring us to go into the office, at least provide a convenient and more cost effective lunch option. The culture feels a bit negative. Many employees talk trash about other companies as if everyone is the enemy. This was off-putting when I first joined and during my first 1:1 meetings with multiple people including my own manager, my previous company became a topic for slander. Competition doesn't have to be nasty. Internal processes are also a mess. Not user friendly, doesn't make any sense, repetitive, not efficient or productive.

Pros

Looks good on your CV, stock purchase program, free stuff from time to time.

Cons

Managers at Cork - Ireland are incompetents, therefore fanatics of micromanagement. Toxic narcissistic and manipulators, they pertake in gaslighting. The culture is fake and it all feels like a potemkin village. The good positions, rewards and perks are arbitrarialy given to incompetents, friends, family and brown nosers, competent people are seen as a threat / annoyance and are sabotaged in all possible ways to the point of despair. Mental health issues are rampant at AppleCare because of the blatant, persistent and endless narcissistic abuse workers go through, especially those working on the phone, but HR and the company doctors are all part of the game and feel they are above policies, laws or basic human decency. Also, the cunning but relatively large French and the LGBT communities within Apple Cork are like little inside-mafias who enjoy climbing the ladder and get a good slice of the cake through deceit and toxic manipulation at the expense of those who actually know how to do the job.
