Pros

Events on site, benefits, some great coworkers

Cons

tough schedule, overbearing management, constant flow of calls without many breaks. AppleCare is unique at Apple, and unlike any other department. While in AppleCare, you will be treated like a secondhand employee. Management will micromanage you, and if you are not taking a certain amount of calls per hour, will often talk to you. In other departments, Apple treats its employee's with a much more open "start up culture vibe", where employee's have the ease of a creative space. Not in AppleCare however. You are there to take calls and that is it. I would think of AppleCare culture more in line with a pyramid scheme or MDM culture, where your existence is simply to meet numbers. I have to quit simply for the mental anguish. Apple is a great company, and I still love Apple products and upper level management. If possible join another org.

Pros

Great benefits and lots of opportunities within.

Cons

No work life balance, you will dedicate yourself completely and most likely carry duties of 2+ people.

Pros

Saving money by working at home, free health benefits and discounts.

Cons

Company are only concerned with numbers and do not value their employees! Only get decent shifts and bonuses if you work yourself to death and even then you still end up on a crap shift for 3 months! Everything is monitored and documented. Expected to be a robot even though they say your not. If your on a call longer than the average time you get messages every few minutes asking what is going on which makes the call even longer by having to stop and explain yourself. Constantly having to do training every week as they never seem to stop bringing out new products and you have to do the training by yourself. Only have the opportunity to progress within the company if you work yourself to death and have every single stat/requirement 100% perfect! I could go on but id be here all day!
