varied projects there are 30 year veterans at arcadis but all consulting firms have 30 yr vets-nothing admirable. they all share the same business model, so leaving is just a different bucket.

Cons

account leaders don't talk to each other; no such thing as work/life balance; people send emails 24 hrs /day in your time zone, answers are expected within an hour if normal work hours; they hit the send button and now its your problem (that's just crappy managing). PTO not respected even with coverage reminders for certain people, thats natural at any firm for higher ups but still shows lack of respect-"I emailed them!". billability rules! templates galore-no one wants to do the work-never heard the term "go by" till i got to arcadis;

Pros

Everything. WFH/Hybrid. Great offices. Great pay, benefits and support.

Cons

It can feel a little lonely at times. My current line doesn't give a lot of feedback, but it could be that I'm too new. Can be cumbersome to find your fit, but give it time and ask around. In a company of 36,000+ employees, in 70 countries with countless projects in different sectors, you'll find something.

Rudderless, bums on seats mentality, worst run company I've ever seen, much worse than the clients they complain about
