      Pros

      Able to work on large, significant projects. Most employees were professional and helpful.

      Cons

      Some of the employees I dealt with we're not very enthusiastic about helping a new employee.

      What used to be a great company, trending in the wrong direction

      Pros

      Lots of different types of work available. Lots of friendly, intelligent people to work with. Decent benefits. Flexible schedule and ability to work from home (if the Arcadis IT -- VPN, Citrix, etc -- isn't completely useless at the time).

      Cons

      Terrible communication between operations staff and upper management. Pockets of expertise littered across the country with no way to find or utilize that expertise. Miserable (terrible performance, stability, accountability) IT infrastructure. Large wins are credited to project managers with no acknowledgement of the staff that actually completed the work. Company makes a show of listening to the opinions of all employees but very little evidence that any action is taken as a result. Executive staff appears at times to be completely unfamiliar with what the company even does. Salaries are not terribly competitive.
