      Great benefits, poor department management.

      Pros

      The hospital pays more than most places in the area for a similar job and they have excellent benefits. The health, dental, & vision is so cheap compared to other doctors offices I've worked for, and all benefits are available to part-time employees as well. The hospital also offers free life & disability insurance, with the option to purchase additional coverage for pennies (literally).

      Cons

      I don't believe every department is the same, but the management in Patient Accounts is a joke. They don't motivate their employees, there is no clear line of authority or any idea of whom to report to for questions. They make last minute schedule decisions and offer little help in getting time off, even though they employ on-call people. There is also no real career growth ability or opportunity for advancement.

      Some of the managers are nice Good salary and benefits Lots of vacation time

      Cons

      The nurses and doctors calling in for support are the rudest people Ive ever dealt with I no longer have any respect for anyone in the medical field Would get cursed out by doctors and nurses for trying to help them Sworn at on almost a daily basis Had to beg for training
