Anything said by senior managers goes - people bend over backwards to please them or prove a concept to them - it’s nonsense. Designs and developments should be driven by consumers and the designers themselves, not a senior manager who has no experience in design or engineering, only project management. The technology they seem to use they think is “modern” and “cutting edge” but actually it’s a few years behind, they act like they’ve invented the wheel but are miles behind start-ups.
