Good place to work, good people, resistant to change

Family feel, friendly co-workers who are willing to help. Pay is good Location is excellent - close to major highways and campus is very nice Makes products that are needed (needles, syringes, etc) Communication from senior leadership is good

Cons

Corporate budgets tend to be tight - frequent hiring freezes, travel restricctions BD is resistant to change - "this is the way we've always done it..." Benefits are good, but employee cost keeps rising significantly each year No stock options for lower level (Job Group 3) employees Policies not enforced, there's a lot of inconsistent job titles / salaries across various BD segments Segments / Units compete with each other (this can be good and bad)

stable job, people are professional, nice campus, marketing leader in many area both in U.S. and Worldwide, does not affected by economy much

Cons

too many processess, sometimes it just took too long to get even a very simple thing done. for the divison I was in, it is not very functional.

Performance, ethics and respect would be the key words describing this company. They demonstrate strong performance while not only talking about strong ethics and respect but I have seen personal examples of these virtues being displayed in a competitive sales situation. Great atmosphere to work -- I've been there for years!

Cons

No true cons really came about, other than perhaps the need to further move away from a US centric perspective on sales.
