No Pros about this place, ever!

Cons

They were dishonest about hiring people and played with their livelihood in a most crucial time. All it did was expose them for who they are, a scam company not a part of the Big Four accounting companies.

Pros

You will learn a lot.

Firm has been winning a lot of clients which results in long hours and busy season being extended significantly beyond the traditional busy season. Naturally people quit which means those of us who continue to stay are worked much harder. Partners pay lip service to the need to take PTO but don't allow for any time in which to do so. Pay is not competitive at all.

Really sorry to see your experience and feeling so negative. We do use market data to base competitive compensation. Of course we all want to win new clients (who wants to work at a firm who doesn't?) but agree we must balance the workload to allow for a healthy work/life fit. If anyone doesn't allow you to take your earned PTO with reasonable planning for it, let me know.
