Lots of red flags

Pros

- Amazing vehicles, accessories and apparel. - Work/life balance is good.

Cons

- Senior management comes across as incredibly clueless, especially regarding the decisions made the past 2+ years around how to bounce back from the softened powersports market. Thankfully, the CEO is leaving...his day came and went some time ago and hopefully they look outside the company (and Canada) for his replacement. - Love to promote "Team! Team! Team!" while your teammates talk behind your back. Have never seen anything like it. - Group/team management will entice confidential conversations with "You can come and talk about any concerns you have." and then quietly share those concerns with others behind your back. - Have been very layoff-happy the past 2 years. - ZERO definable career paths for any position and love to lean on the employee to develop what they want to do next, which they think promotes this "You can do anything!" attitude but it really just comes off as lazy. - If you aren't Canadian and, especially if you don't speak French, you will not be getting promoted quickly, if at all.

Pros

BRP is an innovative company and prides itself on thinking outside the box. They truly care about their employees They make a top tier product and no one can compete

Cons

Leadership is stuck in Canada first. There is no leadership in the US. They want all decisions made in Canada!!! They want US money but they don't want to have any input from anyone in the US!! There are two standards the Canadian Standard and then the peasants in the US! No Bonuses in 3 years and failure to hit goals yet none of the leadership is held accountable.

Pros

Work life balance and health insurance

Cons

DEI and Politics deeply ruin true Leaders, Skills and Talents. Tolerating incompetent people into director, manager & lead roles, leading to no bonus for 3 years, plant shutdown, and mass layoffs. The Training team Never train but talk, and no one in Production/Operation is able to tell you how Efficiency is measured. Upper Management makes decisions based on “Corrupted” data.
