Big 4 hours without being a big 4

Team members are generally all great to work with and everyone is knowledgeable. Can get good experience with PCAOB clients, and smaller IPOs Salary is comparable to other staff level positions for the area I am in at firms of similar size.

Cons

Hours are very long, big 4 level honestly on some clients- so you're working as much as you would at the Big 4 without being able to put a big 4 on your resume. Partners don't particularly care about the staff, managers and some supervisors give poor instructions and can get frustrated quickly at staff. Generally found it difficult to learn on jobs as everything was focused just on billables to the client and getting the work done as fast as possible.

Learned a lot, good benefits and HR is great when you need them

Cons

Management has no grasp of reality. Critiques about management fall on deaf ears. My team was a complete mess that ran in fire drill mode for no discernible reason.
