Don't Call It Consulting

Pros

Willing to pay for talent, good benefits, opportunity to work remotely

Cons

This is a CPA firm masquerading as a Consulting firm. Their strategy, talent and approach are all geared towards protecting their CPA business rather than growing consulting. Baker Tilly may pitch being "entrepreneurial", but they are not interested in ideas that don't come from a partner or director. There are no training or development offerings to help you grow. There is no sense of being on a team. Performance reviews are twice a year events that leaders put the absolute minimum amount of effort in. The firm is almost entirely white and are making no meaningful changes to seek out more people of color.

Pros

I loved my time with BT. A truly great place to work. Company really does a good job to make their employees enjoy coming to work each day.

Cons

The one and only con was the salary. At least as the staff and senior level, vastly underpaid.
