Pros

Good company with good people. Midsize firms such as Baker Tilly give assurance staff the ability to learn all parts of the audit. Nice facilities, and for the most part the amount you travel will be based on your preferences. Great flexibility if you are a top performer. Overall, I would recommend Baker Tilly if you want experience in public accounting.

Cons

No bonuses. Pay is decent, but nothing exceptional for the amount of hours put in.

Pros

Decent coffee and an ok salary.

Cons

Extreme disinterest in technology; No forensic capabilities or investment; The majority of staff have been there for many years and therefore have not a clue how other consultancies operate; The culture is that of a high school click; and Senior management have no interest in training junior staff.
