Pros

The employees are smart, and there are opportunities to work on a variety of projects. It is also easy to take on lots of responsibility early in one's career. Since employees work many hours especially during busy seasson, employees are rewarded with meals and other perks.

Cons

Employees work long hours during the traditional busy season of a public accounting firm. They pay is also probably not at the same level as some of the big 4 accounting firms.

Pros

There are no Pros to working for this firm. It has been a disaster since the Parente Randolph / Beard Miller Merger.

Cons

The firm has a terrible culture of fear, masked as an "engaged culture". Large amounts of turn over and lay-offs in order to make up for millions of dollars missing in the budget this current year. While the firm operates in the red, Partners, Regional Managers, CEO, COO, and President continue to spend on "Partner Retreat" in Hershey, PA, "business trips" across Europe, table sponsorships upwards of $30,000 for one event, , golf outings, and extremely bloated expense reports. Meanwhile, cuts are being made to the artery of the firm, lower level staff, in order to make up the difference. This, in turn, is causing major distress to the Senior Managers of the firm.

Pros

- Partners are really great to work with. They are understanding and listen to you. - There are many opportunities to grow and succeed here. - You are a part of the culture and have the ability to voice your opinions and concerns. - Valued member of the team - Lots of flexibility even during busy season. Definitely get more flexibility the longer you are here

Cons

- Its public accounting so the hours can be long and demanding at times. - There is a lot of responsibility early on so if you can’t deal with that then maybe not a good fit.
