      Pros

      Great work life balance. Willing to help employees grow and be better - they tailor your work around what you want your development to be like. Very inclusive. Great company for women to grow in.

      Cons

      Opportunity to move up can be limited in some departments.

      Pros

      Overall Baxter is a good company to work for. The benefits are great - from the basic health and dental insurance to free entrance to most Chicago museums and 1:1 match for my personal donations and volunteer time. The culture is great, but it does vary from department to department.

      Cons

      Given the company split most people are scared they will be laid off. Also, it's hard to move up and yearly raises are a joke. Make sure you get a good deal when you initially start because not much will change after that.
