      This Toxic Chinese company Must Avoid

      Pros

      It's a Chinese company so if you are used to 996 schedule and ready for ICU.

      Cons

      Management expected long hours of work without any compensation, including weekends. Most of their products were licensed from approved US drugs and being manufactured in China. Competed out US drug companies with Chinese government incentive. All manufacturing occurred in China, and it was forced tech transferred from the license companies. No true value in core.

      Pros

      I've worked for several of the world's best employers and BeiGene stands out for its inspiring / ambitious vision and mission as well its commitment to transforming the industry for the betterment of patients worldwide. Ahead of the industry in terms of how and where people due their best work (permit remote work).

      Cons

      The company is truly global, which requires working with many different time zones. Senior management is aware and working on ways to accommodate work/life balance.
