Salary and benefits. The team I managed were nice people. It's the upper management that was absolutely horrible.

Cons

Absolutely horrible upper management. Due to a disagreement in a professional matter concerning a study patient eligibility they twisted my words, implied things I never said or done, did not give me any chance to discuss or explain my perspective. Didn't provide any management support, left me on my own in a difficult position. They behaved in a very sneaky unprofessional and inhumane way. I wasn't the only one to experience this kind of approach from their end. This company is a big No! Run as fast as you can!!!

toxic leaderships, many senior leaders have been with BeiGene since it was a start up and lack the experience needed to lead a company of this size. CEO shuts down dissent and pushes out experienced leaders who could guide the company forward. Work life balance is terrible as many meetings must include both US and China-based employees. burn-out and turnover are extraordinarily high. Relatively common for US employees to leave without other job offers because of toxic leadership and burnout

Offered a high salary…which isn’t nearly high enough to account for the terrible culture, workplace harassment, and negligent management.

Cons

Management is at best negligent and at worst willfully ignores toxic workplace culture. The quality of work and scientific rigor suffers. Unreasonable expectations with regard to business hours and team dynamics.
