Good place to work

Pros

You’re given a fair amount of independence, and if you’re skilled in a particular area, you’ll have the opportunity to shine and focus on work you genuinely enjoy without too many constraints. That said, IT management was largely non-technical and often just followed instructions from above. If you have strong ideas, don’t hesitate to take them a few levels higher, as your immediate manager may be hesitant to present them.

Cons

The company leans a bit too heavily into “woke” culture, with mandatory trainings that sometimes feel unnecessary and difficult to complete alongside regular responsibilities.

Pros

Tech teams are being encouraged to run like a business. Doing really well in AI as compared to other fintechs. Opportunity to work on lot of projects where blackrock is way ahead in the market

Cons

Work life balance can be tricky, expected to work on multiple projects at one time. Compensations are not amazing.
