Pros

The name and brand. Pay and bonus are good and the share price has done well. Technology is decent. Opportunities to work in other areas and locations.

Cons

Active equity business is in serious decline compounded by huge PM turnover. NY office is in poor repair. Senior management riven by political infighting and all are positioning for Larry's retirement and move into government later this year. Recent senior hires are especially low quality ex central bankers, professional politicians and former bankers. No serious investing culture as evidenced by no senior investors on the board or even the second tier of senior management.

Your basically treated like a workhorse, very demanding management, and promotion opportunities are scarce. Internal mobility does not really exist.
