      Toxic environment for women and minorities

      Good benefits, smart people, innovative for a financial company

      Cons

      Not a meritocracy. White males frequently promoted over higher achieving women and minorities- just look at senior leadership! Discrimination is rampant, and people spend more time gossiping than doing work.

      Big firm, very impressive on your CV. But that's it!oh and great location..

      Cons

      After merger of BLK, you work long amount of hours and no appreciation of your hard work. Bonuses and pay were below average and the culture died. Management focused more on reeling in New business as opposed to keeping great talent that walked out along with the best all time CEO'S in BGI history, Justin Wood & Morry Waked!

      Pros

      It is a large firm which provides exposure to various departments and job functions. Attracts strong talent and a good reputation within the industry.

      Cons

      The company is growing at rapid pace and becoming more bureaucratic. Alot of decisions are very political and can sometimes feel like a cog within a big machine. Compensation is low compared to peer group.
