Pros

Positive culture with a huge focus on employee satisfaction and work/life balance. Senior management encourages a work/like balance, but like any firm in the financial services industry, it can be a challenge. Excellent focus on promoting from within. Quality resources are available to deepen knowledge of BlackRock's products and services as well as the history of the firm. Great sense of community with other BlackRock groups. The pride we all have is infectious and its great to be a part of a firm that strives to increase financial stability for institutions and individuals. Larry Fink is a born leader and cares about our clients and employees.

Cons

The promotion process is antiquated. That being said, anyone can navigate through it if you are dedicated and have worked to build a great reputation.
