Poor if you like to have a life outside of work

Cons

No work life balance Work is boring PAG work involves little finance and almost no transferable skills Bonus is not what it should be for all the extra hours

50% of your time will be spent covering second guessing your job Lack of respect Lack of trust Mid management is always attacking people The biggest con? Why doesn't the rest of the mid management act like Larry Fink?

Pros

Apparently a good name to have on your CV. Some good and hard working colleagues. Decent corporate discount scheme. Good office locations in London and New York.

Cons

Top two or three managers in lines of business and IT make all the decisions. The unwillingness to properly delegate breeds impotent and insecure subordinate managers and results in even the most straightforward request becoming a painful one. Communication is poor - even deliberately so. Very curious technology choices. The arrogance of senior IT staff has built an overly complicated infrastructure and suite of applications.
