Good place for stable career but poor compensation growth for home grown talent

good and flexible culture, strong and ethical leadership, the resources of Wall Street are available at your fingertips with the BlackRock name, job stability

Cons

really frustrating compensation growth for employees. time and time again I've seen really talented people leave for greener pastures solely because of money. and management decides to fill the hole by hiring someone external and pay them more. why not just make your employees that you've developed and nurtured happy ?

Not many to be honest.

Cons

Very uncompetitive salary packages and no growth. No diversity in the employees. The only company I know where they don't even have soft drinks for its employees.

Cons

Compensation growth is terrible. Company purposely pays at least 30-40% below market norm Lots of unnecessary red tape to get anything done Promotions and career elevation are not merit based. Career growth is awarded with emphasis on knowing and aligning with the right senior leaders.
