Pros

The one and only positive point - - Work Life Balance

Cons

This is the main plot of the story - - Most of the people are incompetent and do not know what they are doing. - The work environment is dead slow, worse than a government org. - Lot of bureaucracy going on. - People take forever to reply to a single mail, they think that spending their whole life in a single company makes them a boss. - Pay scale is less compared to other companies, Airbus is much better. - Technologies are oooold and outdated. - Managers have no clue what is going around in the vicnity. - Frequent role changes and re orgs. - Work done is minimum everybody only freaks out about security concerns. - It is better to get the hell out as soon as possible for young engineers 2 - 6 exp...before it is too late - Worst company for software professionals.

Pros

There's a ton of experience and information around. If you want to know how to build a very specific circuit for a task, odds are that there's somebody nearby that can help you out. They have access to practically any software license you would need and any database you'll want to access. The benefits are great and they've got dedicated support for dealing with any issue involving health insurance, 401k, or other benefits. They also have the best IT system I've ever used before. They're extremely lenient about flexing your schedule. If you need to take Monday off, as long as you make up the hours and don't skip any important meetings, they're fine with it.

Cons

Never has Boeing as a company ever done anything for me that I would consider fun. You show up to work, sit at your desk and pray that you actually get to have some reprieve from reading endless PowerPoints, or attending meetings that could have been summarized in an email. Everything comes down to what will immediately make Boeing money. Turning a conference room into a break room only looks like an additional expense to the managers and doesn't have any short-term benefits. There's a ton of little initiatives to try and fix things like being more active, but they're very low effort without any follow-through from management.
