Pros

I have recently joined Booking and I have found a great place to work for, knowledgeable and collaborative colleagues. Well structured onboarding program. Tons of documentation easy to find. Very supportive and fast IT team. Amazing office in Amsterdam, food is decent and excellent coffee at the bars. Flexible hours and remote working possible for 4 weeks a year.

Cons

The recruiting process took way too long, 3 months for 4 interviews, but has been influenced by the re-org discussion that kicked-off the same time. Very variated and confusing job titles. Not all the roles have a career opportunity. Some politics in the tech teams, when about deciding the tech solutions, where people become territorial. Management layer is quite thick.
