Pros

For a large multinational, it still feels quite people-focused and colleagues are genuinely kind and approachable. It's incredibly international and diverse - truly unique. There's flexibility with regards to working hours and as a working parent great parental benefits. Finally, the new campus building incl. restaurants, works spaces, snacks, etc. is top notch.

Cons

Unfortunately it's become more bureaucratic with too many layers of management which makes decision making slow and sometimes includes way too many people. They can also do a better job at encouraging same-level internal moves especially given the current climate. Within the People department, there's little movement between CoEs & HRA for instance. Doesn't feel this is appreciated at all.

Company on the decline

Pros

- Most people are quite friendly and care about quality of work - Lots of resources for professional development, especially the "soft skills" areas - Good pay for NL - Quite cool how international the team is

Cons

- It's shocking how teams don't know what one another are doing and each use their own tools and software they build themselves - The tools they use for marketing tech are not at all industry standard and very buggy - About to do massive layoffs and reorg purely to make more money. Still hiring people that will be laid off in just a few months without warning them... - The company is huge and management is nowhere to be seen and when they do a Q&A it's so corporate sounding it's a bit maddening - Not sure if this is good or bad, but I was really surprised after joining how long most people have been at the company, many for their entire career. The downside of this is that a lot of people have no idea that there are better ways to do things and resistance to change.
