Pros
They care about their people, especially the newest talent. For new Mech. and chem engineers to the company, there is a very in depth 9 month training program. the program is basically an extension of college courses focused on what Cemex needs. the pay is very good for freshly graduated students and there's always room to move up or around within the company. The company was mostly male and paper dominated. But! they want to be that new age company and you can tell they are striving for it.
Cons
The company is in a transition phase and has been for 20 years. They just now within the last few months have gotten women uniforms, there is almost no organization (document wise). They are slow when it comes to technology, most of their drawings are still paper. Their data system is a mess, no one uses it correctly (if they use it at all). Outside of Corporate the company still very much so has the "I've done it this way and I'll do it this way until I retire vibe". but again, they're working on it. They need help with theire planning.
