They demand a lot of extra (unpayed) work hours, even on weekends. On a regular basis, always arguing that they ae aware of this not being the optimal or planned to situation, but circunstances call for such actions. They still keep this philosophy of the employee having some sort of responsability to show the company evidence of commitment and aliance, aditional to what the both parts's signed contract backs up. In order to aspire to some theoretical future opportunities or merely keeping your current position.As you are one of the "priviledged ones" that can count on what this company offers is in fact above the average job offers.
