Pros

You have constant work all year long. Some positions open to move ahead on upper management but not as of lately.

Cons

The salary is below average. Long hours same pay. You see a lot money under the table to let smaller companies work for the ready mix

Pros

Good compensation, job security with technical knowledge

Cons

work-life balance, difficult to schedule time off if you are the only one who knows how to do your job. you will literally LIVE there. Very unreliable equipment overall that will fail and cause maintenance dept to be there 24/7
