Pros

*Employee stock purchase plan has generous matching on fairly stable company stock *Momentum Financials is used by 70+ federal agencies

Cons

*The stock purchase plan does not make up for abysmal salaries compared to other management consulting firms. *Company went to high deductible insurance in 2014, increasing burden on employees. *Annual salary increases are between 1-2.5%, forcing employees to jump ship to see a significant increase and adding to the turnover rate that management complains about annually. * As another review mentioned, advancement/promotions seem arbitrary and based on the member's relationship with upper management and not merit/competence. *Promotions that do occur often go to people who are abrasive and verbally abusive to employees, but have good visibility with upper management. *Work/life harmony can be thrown out the window if management creates a short turnaround for a deliverable (with no input from line employees) and "voluntell" them to work nights and weekends.

Pros

Good place to START a career and to maybe end one. For those who are coming right out of college it's a good place to learn the skills you'll need to start a career in a corporate setting. The people (depending on what team you're on) are also welling to lend a hand to help you learn and understand your work.

Cons

Upward mobility is almost non existent. The Troy Offices are quickly becoming nothing more then a call center with only a few business analysts and Technical works still working there. Pay is FAR bellow market value and management does not seem to care. Management says Work/Life balance is important to them but some jobs require 12+ hour work days for months on end, leaving NO room for work/life balance.

Pros

Work from home option Good work life balance Good if you are settled in your life & want to focus more on family & not learning and growth I wanted growth in my life & was lucky to have moved on from this company, but I had to do that with lots of struggle. Think twice before joining so that you don't have to undergo this mental stress at all

Cons

The company is full of false promises People joining here as software engineers are made to work on age-old technologies & thus lose the opportunity to learn new things which reduces their market value People joining as business analysts are made to do manual testing which is not a work of a business analyst at all which again makes them unemployable outside Most of the quality work is reserved for on-site people in US & Canada hence Indians are expected to do menial works. Company management has a 20-year-old philosophy notwithstanding the present market scenario of IT industry I was hired as a business analyst & for a pre-sales role (as per job description). I've worked for almost 1.5 years as a manual tester. Few managers think they are like untouchable super gods & treat their employees like slaves & use abusive languages
