      Pros

      The people - seriously there were some very talented people there. I stayed as long as I did because of the people I worked with. The benefits package was good under Logica, but CGI are slowly eroding it away.

      Cons

      If you work in South Wales and are not in with the management (known nationally as the South Wales Mafia) then you have no hope there. nepotism and favouritism is rife! They only pay you what they can get away with which is below the market rate. The only way to get a pay rise is to hand in your notice. management allowing staff to operate under a Pareto principle of working - 20% of the staff doing 80% of the work. Very Poor at saying thank you to staff who put in the effort. Middle / Senior Management like to operate ether under a culture of fear or ostrich management

      Pros

      Nothing much to say here. Infighting, poor management, favortism and nepotism, I could go on and on and on..

      Cons

      Worst place I have ever worked in an almost 40 year working career. Cultural misalignment between US and French Canadian entities-- socialistic philosophies DO NOT work in the US. VERY poor leadership- the fish sticks from the head down. Extremely bad decision to buy a large, failing European company. Can't wait to leave!!

      - Larger clients, mostly financial sector - Stock sharing - Management means well

      Cons

      - Only focus is on bill-ability of employees, this overshadows any focus on the individual's growth, work balance etc - Temporary layoffs are a complete cop-out. I've seen three rounds of layoffs in the past 6 months, and there is very little communication around this. Lots of fear mongering, ie. you better be 80+ billable or you're next. People are forced into TLO so they are not able to collect a package. - No vision for the interactive department, running by the seat of it's pants - Talented people are overworked while those who are incompetent squeak by on 40 hours - No communication with employees around vision, future
