      Great starter, if you can last.

      Pros

      CGI offers better than average payscale and benefits. They have a good training system and seem interested in personal growth, though they are only really interested in your growth so they can "leverage" you to more clients. You are essentially a capitol producer. A great starter for fresh employees but it seems as if you linger too long, you get stuck.

      Cons

      They are not interested in you as a person, they are only interested in what you can do for them. As a service provider, the client _ALWAYS_ come first. Regardless of the situation, persons involved, anything. I have seen a co-worker "removed" from the account because one member of the clients staff did not like her.

      Pros

      Company has shown many examples of being willing to accommodate personal requests, such as working from home and time off for personal issues.

      Cons

      The company runs projects with little up front planning and generally mitigates issues by adding more un-prepared resources. Additionally, there is little training opportunities to develop new consulting skills and little opportunities to use new technologies. Finally, the company does not fairly recognize the work of its employees. A person is able to hide in the background or put in the minimum work effort and still receive the same recognition of those that work weekends and nights.
