      Good people trying to do a good job

      They talk a good game, but when it comes down to brass tacks they find a way/reason/excuse to not meet employee expectations. Benefits are poor.

      Promotion Don't Mean Anything

      Pros

      The work from home benefit is great but that largely depends on your project.

      Cons

      Being promoted from Consultant to Senior Consultant you would think you would receive a raise but you don't. I was promoted in the spring cycle but my salary raises are on the winter cycle, so I was not surprised to not get anything immediately. So I patiently waited six months hoping I would get an adjustment in salary and once that day came I got the worst raise I have received at CGI even smaller than my first year at the company. So advice to job seekers, make sure you ring them for everything up front as they will not give it to you later.
