Pros

Good work life balance. Good pension contribution. A lot of enjoyment comes down to what project you in and people working with.

Cons

No meaningful career opportunities, not encouraging, no rewards for taking exams to earn certification. Very confusing and buggy IT systems. Politics and corporate bureaucracy. They even try to catch you and blame for not reporting phishing. Sending useless trash instead of at least keeping up salaries with inflation levels - only top of pyramid ie VP are rewarded properly. The rest 2% + few hundred quid bonus meaning earning less each year.

Pros

- Some of the people you work with are great. - You get a prestigious name on your CV.

Cons

- Cliquey. - Progression is down to whether you are one of the management favorites, not merit. - Staff feedback not acted upon (unless you're part of the clique). - Pay isn't great and the pension is the legal minimum. - Performance is done by peer review. This creates a 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' situation.

Preditory Canadian company that growth by acquisition of smaller companies and thier client base. Does not have much specialism if the core talent is not there. Specialises at IT services.
