Pros

Interesting work, technically challenging - company has long history. Customers can be very loyal. Located in good place, easy commute from lots of places different places to live, including the city. Benefits are good. Pay is good for new hires. Many people are easy to work with.

Cons

Company is not very organized. Not very good at training people or moving them within the company. Engineering process a bit chaotic. Raises have been very poor over the last 7 years or so, despite the company doing well throughout most of the recession. High performing employees are not given raises over lower performing employees Many people are leaving or have left. Company is downsizing, especially in test departments. Note falling rating over the last year. Italian management can be problematic - very hard to work together. Don't take a job with an Italian boss (sorry)! Many ex-Navistar employees in electronics

Pros

- A family friendly atmosphere, older engineers are willing to help if you are proactive enough. - matching 401k is top notch - flexible work schedule as long as you get your work done

Cons

- Not one cent of a raise since I started (over 6 years ago) even after consistently good reviews why? Not even so much as a cost of living adjustment. - No engineering development program - employees fall through the cracks. - If Management isn't constantly chasing its own tale and updating spreadsheets, they're micromanaging their subordinates instead of empowering them to do their jobs. - Management thinks that backfilling positions means you volun-tell someone that they will take on more responsibility without promise of compensation. what world do you live in?

Pros

Industry standard, decent medical plan

Cons

Poor work culture, outmoded business practices, management skirting ethical business boundaries, company is run entirely by predatory HR , vague job descriptions, poor remuneration if you aren’t an engineer.
