good bennies, forward looking in terms of social justice issues.

Cons

very dated and difficult working systems. No real working local knowledge of actual building systems, or delivery software. Lots of internal politicking, power positioning, and not much of any real discussion or action on BUILDINGS. This company seems to have lost its way over the years and has now become just painful to be at in nearly every function of the job from accounting, marketing, recruiting, hiring, etc. etc.

Big overseas work Some good design - if you are interviewing check your VP they are not all created equal Good benefits

Cons

Management seems self-obsessed and is aged - they will tell you its like a partnership it is not Lots of leadership changes - lots and lots of changes. Pay sucks - bonuses are laughable and only at senior levels. so don't expect more than your salary even for really long nights and weekends.

Lots of benefits to choose from Pay is reasonable Most co-workers are great to work with. Some depts are very team oriented and supportive Very fast paced and able to gain a lot of experience quickly

Cons

Communication is very poor across depts and offices Employees are treated like machines Seattle office has been undergoing a very poorly managed renovation (which is seriously surprising given it’s their industry!) So many people with very low morale and burnout Really, really high turnover in some depts (like 80% in less than 2 years) Supervisors and trainers can be located on opposite costs from the people they manage Very quick training and then you are thrown into the job with little support or resources Work load is ridiculous and unsustainable Technology is old and not well maintained Work life balance and employee satisfaction are really just PR buzzwords, with little actual actions put in the place Just a general feeling that the company exists to make money for shareholders and nothing else
