Pros

- Salary paid on time - Extended family health insurance

Cons

- Leaving on time, not doing extra work after hours or working exclusively on the project is frowned upon by management and colleagues; - Overtime and weekends are not paid; - There is an anonymous internal tool for evaluating the company's and managers' policies by all employees. As the company is part of a global group, there is immense pressure from management for employees to rate the company with high marks to look good in the eyes of the group; - The same goes every year when voting for the Great Place To Work. Immense pressure for the company's score to be high; - A lot of show off for the press and social networks; - It is valued who “appears to be” to the detriment of who knows how to do or does the work itself; - In the annual assessment, 95% of the promotion/raise list elements are the same from year to year, regardless of the work done during the year, just because they are friends with the right people or belong to the “seem to be” list; - The annual evaluation is a mere pro forma to provide a justification for not promoting/raising employees who do not belong to the “appear to be” list; - The company does not provide training to employees; -High turnover among seniors and mid-levels. There are teams where in the last year 85% of the elements left being replaced mostly by juniors; -Many juniors coming from internships/academies launched directly into the project without any accompaniment by seniors because they are overloaded; - Projects made exclusively by juniors sold as seniors; - A lot of disorganization at the level of managers and HR themselves; - Sometimes juniors are hired at higher salaries than seniors, which causes seniors to leave; - Currently, they are unable to hire seniors or even mid-level workers in PT, so the solution is to hire directly in India. Several reinforcement teams are being set up in India, in various technologies, directly for the company in Portugal;

Pros

The Global company is good but some of the bosses bring their typical Indian mentality to their management style. They will micromanage and bully the subordinates into working far beyond the mandatory 9.5 hrs a day, work on weekends, work when unwell, work on leaves, and speak very rudely and make personal statements, because according to their mentality, paying a salary to an employee, makes those employees their slaves. The processes at Capgemini India are extensive and will ensure that your work gets delayed. Everything takes a long time to get access or approval, and during all this delay, the employee will have to take the brunt for it. After all the work you put into the year, the annual performance appraisal is guaranteed to disappoint and not even enough to cover the increase in expenses that annual inflation causes. The leadership is probably quite comfortable knowing that their employees are struggling to make a living. The management has no empathy, neither for the employee or their family members unless it is a government mandated Covid situation.

Cons

Low pay, bullying from immediate boss, even awards mean nothing when it comes to retention, they just want the cheapest resource with the most slave-like mentality who will follow orders and not question the authority of the managers and leads.

Pros

You might get good counter offer if they want you to join

Cons

Very less average salary hike Management people are bossy and pathetic People will give you ratting base on your office timing and favouritism Mostly they have support projects and no learning opportunities Basically it's a school not IT firm. Please join TCS Wipro Accenture if you have the offer . I worked there and it's 100 times better than this fraud and pathetic organization.
