Pros

benefits are good and on par with marketplace physical workplace environment is very good salary compensation if coming from outside is comparable or above market however, once you are inside the compensation process is extremely slow and does not keep pace coworkers are among some of the best people

Cons

performance management process leaves much to be desired little chance for promotion unless have management support favors youthful go getters willing to work long hours (60-100 plus hrs per week) can "try" next level role without pay or title change 6-18 months and still not get promotion if management does not agree or they eliminate role/department work life balance doesn't truly exist below management level open culture only works if you agree; woe to those who question you'll find yourself moved out

Pros

They spend a lot of money on events (food, parties, music, etc.). I think they do this to try to balance out the known toxic work environment.

Cons

Aggressive and worthless stack ranking process. As a former people leader, I am personally ashamed to have knowingly participated in the 6-7 days per year we dedicated to this debate. This is not a quantitative comparison, but rather a political exercise in which managers could prop up their employees the best. For the record, I never personally fell "below the bar" and this is not a bitter response to that. Senior leaders also work within a cult of personality. In Auto Finance, the department head requires all employees to travel to a stadium once a year to watch him speak for 4 hours (no guests, just the ego maniac speaking). Similarly, the CEO requires the company to spend 4 full days each year listening to him give a personal presentation (again, no guests, just rambling).

Pros

Great tech environment compared to other banks. 100% on the cloud.

Cons

WLB has gone down hill recently, with mandatory PIP quotas making the working environment more hostile than before.
