Pros

The best reasons to work for Capital One are the flexible work arrangements. I tend to be more productive working from home. The compensation and benefits are also great.

Cons

It is hard to get promoted even if you're working at the next level. Sometimes it seems it's all about who you know.

Pros

I really enjoy the flexibilty in work schedules and the total benefits package provided. The work schedules include condensed schedules and even work from home options. The benefits package includes great medical, dental, and vision insurance. There are other benefits that you can use as needed such as commuter plans and educational assistance.

Cons

The best of the best work at Capital One, and therefore there is a lot of competition all around which can be high stress. The good news is that this competition can also allow for a creative work enviroment. Management is well aware of the stress levels and also provide a lot of support.

Pros

Although everything written here can be different depending on the department, at least they are valid for the risk department. Flexibility: as long as you get your job done, it does not matter if you want to take half an hour or two hours for lunch or if you want to take a break in the middle of your day to go to the gym. If you need a day off for whatever reason you will have it. In general, there are not very strict rules, so you can ask for whatever you want to your manager. Of course, you will have to be flexible with the company as well (it is a two-way relationship).

Cons

Sometimes you have got to work very fast to get things done, and work overtime, which is not paid (and this is the flexibility from the employee to the employer).
