      They are big and powerful and influential in the industry.

      Cons

      Trouble redefining its culture mixing ACE employees with Chubb employees. May work out over time, but it will never be the old Chubb.

      -Senior management are some of the most talented people I've worked with in my 20 year career. -There has been great focus on employee retention since the merger. Management has tried to communicate openly and often to put employees' fears to rest.

      -Systems are not integrated yet

      Pros

      Chubb has flexible working including working from home, a good benefits package including medical, pension and subsidised gym membership, and has a culture of trusting and empowering staff.

      Cons

      Can be slow to move forward technologically. Several years of frozen head count have limited possibilities of advancement. There is a danger now with the Ace takeover that good IT practices could be replaced with inferior ones in certain areas.
