Pros

Resume builder. Top tier insurance company. Pay is good. Management is knowledgeable. Good career development overall being at this company.

Cons

Work life balance is difficult to achieve. As others have commented the turnover has been high since the merger and continues to be high. Theme across Chubb is understaffed business units with high work loads. Ace management comes down on employees at times instead of coaching employees. 401k is only deposited in one sum at end of the year (actual deferred).

Pros

This company is simply phenomenal. Very inclusive; lots of women & minorities in leadership roles. Very team centric and definitely a meritocracy...hard work is nicely rewarded. CEO is charismatic and engaging and no BS type of an individual. Very engaged with the employees and constantly communicating his vision and aspirations for the company’s continued upward trajectory as the top insurer in North America. I’ve worked in the Dallas office at this company for five years and I love the senior management their dedication to empowering employees to make good decisions and the opportunity for advancement hands-down best company I’ve ever worked for!

Cons

I honestly have nothing negative to say about this company I believe that the HR department is fair and engaging there is ample professional development mentoring and conflict resolution ..all you could ask for in a company

Pros

The flexibility of working from home is helpful

Cons

The workload is unmanageable and is a set up for failure. Pay is not nearly what it should be for the amount of work that is done, and upper management doesn't make an effort to keep valuable and experienced employees. Particularly since the acquisition there is more of a feeling of being disposable and less that Chubb cares to invest in people who have invested a lot into their work. It's all about results.
