Pros
1. my employer is very open about work life. My schedule is pretty flexible, it fits my family and personal activities. 2. I the pay compensation is pretty competitive, I am fairly sastified with my compensation. 3. I like the team members in my immediate group.
Cons
1. The annual review process is convoluted. It takes up too much time and pretty irrevelant to what you going to get. I think your annual review is already decided before you even start writting your review. 2. I still don't understand the promotion process at cisco systems. It seems like when an employee works beyond his or her responsibilities, the promotion should be award. But that's not the case, there is a process that managers need to follow.
